i need some help!!!

does anyone know how to use bf2 editor or is there a better program to use to edit maps and stuff like that. b/c i dont know how to get a map into bf2 editor so that i can edit it so i need help with how to do that.

You can only use the BF2 Editor, or code. But I'd stick with the editor if I were you.

all the topics and downloads are form a year ago do i need updated versions of the things they say i need to get bf2 editor to work right.

and i couldnt find a topic on how to get a map into bf2 editor every time i try to load a map it says that the file can not be found.

extract server.zip and client.zip into the folder they are in e.g. mods\bf2\levels\level_you_want_to_open

ok well i did that but it stillwont let me load the map so i can edit it it gives me the same error message saying that the file can not be found

You're doing it wrong then. Does it say init.con cannot be found?

yes how can i fix that

and ppl please stop telling me to go to www.bf2editor.com i can find the stuff i am looking for and all the posts are from a year ago and the downloads are for last years versions of the stuff i dont know if they have updated the files and if they have i dont want to download old files that wont work and then have to download the new version my comp thakes for ever to download files.
