Hi. I'm really quite new to these forums (18 minutes since I joined, to be exact), and I hate to have my first post be some sort of help, because then it gives me a reputation that says "Hey, I know everything!" and I don't really want that, but I decided that I might as well start off some way or another...

ANYWAYS... I just got finished making my first Short Skit-type thing with Battledirector. I used Windows Movie Maker to put it together, and I noticed it has almost exactly what you're looking for. The effect is that of a newspaper flying in (rotating and zooming at the same time), and it has the front page with text that you put in for the title and subtitle, and the front page picture is your movie. It then zooms into the movie, thus "cropping" out the newspaper... I'm not sure this is exactly what you're looking for, and I know this post was long (or at least compared to most I've seen here), but thanks for listen - er, reading!

I don't think that's what he meant, he wanted like the CNN look, with news items scrolling by in the bottom of the screen and 'BREAKING NEWS' in the corner or something

yeah it turns out i have it.
i found it in my dads room
the only problem is it doesnt have the cd key or the security code verification.
so i guess i still have to buy it.
