Default GFX Card Suggestions?

Well I still have a 8800GT, yes I know it's old and I want to replace it cause it's time has come.

Here are my specs.
CPU- AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1075T ~3.5GHz
Memory- 8GB
HDD- 2TB
550W PSU

I just want a good graphics card that would run fine with my setup.
and my budget is around $100-$300 maybe $400

Specifically the ASUS GTX570, however I've read that although it's very quiet, the fans suffer from low frequency humming oscillation.

Personally, I'm aiming on getting the Gainward GTX570 Phantom, since I think spending the extra money is justified for something I will likely keep for another 5 years, and this GTX570 really is the cream of the crop regarding performance, heat and noise (it's also the best looking GPU ever made imo)

However, ATI is again upon us with their 7000 series so I'm holding out even longer to see what prices are going to change, if any.

ahhh I think I'm definitely going for that but then again I'll probably wait to see if there's anything better as well.

ASUS GTX 580 DirectCUII but thats just because I have one and I love it!
it is a bit pricey though.. :/ and it was a massive upgrade from my old XFX 9600 GSO

I'm leaning back and waiting for the next stage of goodness from both vendors, I need something to very powerful accommodate my workstation.
