Default Tactical Gamer sort the voip problem

Basically match the ip of the player with the person in the teamspeak.

Sounds like win, but I don't understand how they managed to get third party software running on their BF3 server...

It runs independently and polls the BF3 server for information on squads.

Yeah, they dont say there is anything on the game server. I guess it is only using admin.listplayers and the TS channels to miror squads 0-8. Its a simple but a good idea.

In theory you should be able to get a BF3 server to run Python scripts. I think thats intended for anti cheat.

There is a function called admin.movePlayer which sets a squad as well as a team so I guess the TG TS script could be expanded to work the other way around, detect you in a channel and move you to the squad on the game server.
Only obvious problem with the current implementation is using ip as a unique id - cant think of a better and equally practical way but it doesnt seem ideal.
