Default BattleDirector Trojans plz Help

Is there any way to get BattleDirector to work with Mcafee?
Here is my problem.

First when i install it this happens.

Then when i try to run BattleDirector.

I try to restore the so called Trojans to get it to work but it just keeps removing them.

The logfile says this a bunch of times.

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "bd1.py", line 5, in <module>
File "wx\__init__.pyc", line 45, in <module>
File "wx\_core.pyc", line 14528, in <module>
File "wx\_misc.pyc", line 4, in <module>
File "wx\_misc_.pyc", line 12, in <module>
File "wx\_misc_.pyc", line 10, in __load

Did you download it from our site ?

According to McAfee, there are no registered issues.

Alternatively, it could be your machine is already infected, and it is trying to infect the files upon install.

I think the problem is Mcafee mistaking the 3 .PYD files for Trojans.

Yes i did download BattleDirector 1.7.exe from your site.
http://sircommunity.com/software-battledirector.html

Also the link to Mcafee you put up that says there is no registered issues is for the BattleDirector 1.5.exe not BattleDirector 1.7.exe .This member seems to have the same problem as me. Looking at his post date i think his was BattleDirector 1.7.exe also.
http://sircommunity.com/forums/showt...ghlight=trojan

And yes i run scans all the time and the only time i get anything is when i try to install the 1.7.exe maybe i should try the 1.5.exe

The so called infected files are,
C:\PROGRAM FILES\THE SIR.COMMUNITY\BATTLEDIRECTOR\DATA\ACODEC.PYD
C:\PROGRAM FILES\THE SIR.COMMUNITY\BATTLEDIRECTOR\DATA\VCODEC.PYD
C:\PROGRAM FILES\THE SIR.COMMUNITY\BATTLEDIRECTOR\DATA\_MISC_.PYD

I tried this 2 times last night with the same results. Clean then i download and install and the 1.7.exe and hello Trojans. They only appear during install or after i try to restore them from the Mcafee.

P.S. i just tried BattleDirector 1.7.exe i got from fileplanet and the same thing happens.

My bad on the version, I remember Elxx testing it a while back with no issues then. I just double-checked it now too and scanned for whatever may be, but still nothing.

I remember Mcafee doing the same thing to me with the AIX Mod for BF2 but the files it removed could be restored and it would work. Not the case here everytime i restore them it just keeps removing them. I know it's the Mcafee cause other people use BattleDirector 1.7 just fine. I need a way to make Mcafee trust the 3 files it removes.

I will record the install and trojan detection with fraps and post it to see if it gives you a better understanding. If i can figure out how.

I suggest running a full scan, killing anything that's found, then trying it again.

Mcafee is shit because it uses up lots of resources, and doesn't detect alot of issues. Personally, I prefer Avast, because it does the opposite of these things.
