Sir Community I Need Your Help With Making My Story Into A Movie!!!

Sir Community. I'm a movie maker. I love doing it, and i never knew about Battlefield until i saw your movies and i went out, bought the game....and then had no idea what the heck to do in order to make the movie...

Now after a year, i figured out how to get rid of the HUD and the messages and the names, how to work battlerecorder, how to host LAN servers so that anybody u know can join.. the only problem is...i don't have enough people to help me. I recently joined a clan called "TRU" cause my friends were in it and they kept bugging me to join... i joined because i was hoping they would be helpful and i'd have enough players to help with my movie. So far 10 people from the TRU clan have agreed to help out...but im afraid that naturally only 4 will even show up on film day... I have a very good story line, it takes place in Gulf of Oman and i have a lot of good scenes that will look amazing, if you guys do it. I've seen your work..especially those northern strike videos...amazing... that's why i can trust you guys to do an amazing job with this video. If you accept, i'll send your lead director a folder with aerial views of all the bases in the Gulf of Oman, that include positions for all the iraqi troops, USMC troop formations, vehicle formations, detailed descriptions near the location of the action that explain what happens, squad movements, a word document containing the storyline, etc etc etc. And i can just see you guys doing an amazing job on this movie. All i ask, is that i get to be in the movie, i get to be noted in the credits as Storyboard artist and story creator or whatever they call it, and co-director to make sure things go the way i pictured it (of course you guys are more experienced but i still just want to see my maps and stories come to life...in the game..the way i pictured it)

PLEASE Consider. And please note this movie is a serious movie, not a comedy or parody...

Of course that doesn't mean we can't add in at the end some scenes of bumper DPV's in the apple orchard in the middle of the Gulf of Oman map

I'm a major fan of your work and i highly recommend that you go through with helping me with my lil dilema..this movie will change the way people look at battlefield 2.

I'll leave it someone else in Sir. to make a more serious reply, i'm merely interested and i've been in-active of late, so i forget with one is the mouse and which is the keyboard from time to time... hehe ;)

Yeah, i pretty much play games just to make movies for them... idk why i just like being able to show people what these games really can do. When people think of battlefield... they think of guys running around...no tactics...bunnyhopping and shooting...

So i wanted to make movies to show them a more realistic battlefield experience... i want to show battlefield movie viewers that you can make a really cool movie with Battlefield.

Please Sir. Community, highly consider helping with my movie. I have some really cool shots and ideas for it.. and everythings all set for it.. all we need is the server, the people, and your help to do editing since your all very good at it. Oh and no i haven't used vegas yet. So far i've only used Windows Movie Maker, but i dont see the difference anyway that's why i haven't bought Vegas yet... but i will eventually buy Vegas just because i know its better.

I did this movie all by myself with the bots in Operation Clean Sweep. Was my first movie i did with Battlefield and i wanted to go bigger with this Gulf of Oman movie... i want this Gulf of Oman movie to be big enough, that the Sir Community will make it... and that's saying something considering your work.

You played project reality right, that's like a realistic shooter with team tactics.

When bf2 reallly isn't that realistic hehe, but it's still fun to make action films in =D

Yeah exactly DosedMonkey, but that movie i made is only a little sample of what I want from you guys. If you make this movie, MINE, The Pwned Life, all those popular movies will be a thing of the past. I spent an entire day..24 hours straight no joke doing word documents, taking screenshots of every base from an aerial view, and then importing those screenshots into paint and putting in detailed descriptions, locations for troops, formations..all kinds of stuff... so if you guys agree, we could get right to work, do all the scenes straight thru, and be finished in probably one day with filming. At least that's my hope. DosedMonkey, idk if Sir Community has noticed this thread or not, i know you have, but in case they haven't seen this already, can you help me out plz, help this get around? I also sent in an application to be a member but haven't gotten a response.. which btw.. sorry in advance because i sent like...4 applications in...i kept messing up because i didn't know how to use the MSN messenger thing...i've never used it before... but now its all up and running so yeah...

My big tip here dude is, get yourself on team speak! A lot!

More you talk to people on there, more they'll talk to you! Forums are good for talking in detail and a like, but to get peoples confidence in you, which is just as important as your ideas, you need to get on there lots bud.


PS. Where do you get time to sit and write for 24 hours solid? Sash, found out this dudes occupation yet hehe. XD ;)

Really? I always thought BF2 was a pretty good mix between tactics and arcade-ish-ness. Counter-Strike and ET/ETQW are the retarded no-tactic bunnyhop festivals.

Counter Strike does better fit that description...

arcady war action is a better description for Battlefield.

Oh and yeah exaggeration with the 24 hours straight writing...

Though i did spend a majority of the day workin on all the stuff to get it all set... i was planning on making it with some other clan but they suck and i was hoping on getting professional help to make this video the way i had pictured it.

Oh and btw, the Sir Community teamspeak is public? Not private? I didn't know that. Where can i find the Teamspeak IP to join up? Or were you just talking about teamspeak in general?

The big, servers button, on the sir community homepage gives IP and password. But yes it's public, your meant to be on there if your in the game servers of ours.

It has private channels for members and such, but is public as it is well moderated.
