Alright, finally filmed a very short movie clip (22 seconds) to test out Vegas with Battlefield. I worked out the motion-blur, color correction, and graphic overlay. I uploaded it on YouTube, but I also uploaded it on my personal file server if you want the higher quality one (not much better...but only 5mb). Could you give me a few pointers on color correction, or anything else that would help with future movies (real length ones...)?

By the way, the quality of the sound is horrible because I don't have 'Stereo Mix', so I had to use 'Wave Out Mix', which is horrible (if anybody has any fixes for it, tell me). Also, I would have used the DivX Codec, but it was being a pain in the ass while recording (didn't record anything, just an empty file. Again, any help would be nice), so I used the Windows Media Codec..thing...
I'm not asking you to judge the movie based on its plot (or lack thereof), but on the few amounts of effects, and give advice on further movies (by the way, still waiting on the answer of my application...)
