Here is a sig i created using the HDR and a bit of combustion to add a bit more action into the scene (ex: tracers, smoke in the background, and bullet hits on objects.

And im trying to implement HDR into filming (Possibly Arma), but will take some time to get the effect perfect.

ArmA would look lifelike with that. It's almost lifelike already, without the HD shiz.

If you can refine those HDR filters to perfection, ArmA will look lifelike.

Sexeh :yay:

How do you apply HDR to an image?

Well there are several ways of applying HDr to images. If you have Photoshop then its quite simple, but you need a nice Digital SLR camera, and need to take the picture in different exposures and combine them. If you have just one image then you can use photoshop to add different exposures to the image and save them. Ugh i dont think im making any sense. Let me find a link to a tutorial. :)

True you dont need a camera to take the pics with, you can use any pic you want, you just have to know to use exposure in pictures to get the right dark and light effects in the photo and combine them for best results.

Sir. Side

Its quite simple really, have your three images with different exposures saved where you can select them. Open up photoshop, then go to edit>Automate>I think its called combine to HDR or something, from there you select your three images and if they meet the specific requirement and have enough exposure then HDR should be applied and you can from then mess with the settings. :)

There's also a program called Photomatix. Does it all for you. Just select the images.
