Hey guys, sorry if starting a new thread is spamming a bit but I was really interested in this.

First off, your videos are awesome, top-notch. The Sir Community Logo you use at the start/end of your videos, how do you do it? Is it a 3D render or just a photoshopped image?

Without giving away too much information could you please shed light on exactly how you make it look like it looks?

Thanks so much,

=TG= AngelFire

Hey AngelFire, welcome to the forums.

Your query depends on which video's you ae referring to. Our earlier vieo's are done in Adobe After Effects and most of our latest video's are using a 3D render I think.

However, I'm sure that Shpox and Xalias can shead some more light on the mechanics of it all.

Looking at your YouTube videos. I like the Live Free or Die Hard one. Great stuff :)

Right at the start of Desktop Battlefield it shows your logo, thats what im talking about.

Thanks very much. Im more into shorts I think they are just straight to the point and provide a burst of entertainment rather than watching 10 minutes of slightly entertaining stuff.

It's fake 3D, a 2D layer in 3D space given a bump map to help create an illusion.
The desktop battlefield intro logo was the last version of that design and it's now inferior. :)

However, the 2D layer in 3D space still does have it's advantages, such as super fast rendering times and it's also a very portable composite with just a single picture being the only source file needed.

Excuse me but. This thread is a good 3 months old and has been resolved. On top of this, your post makes absolutely no sense at all.
Good day to you.
