:mellow:Any skinners savvy with DXT Compression Plugin for Photoshop out there?
I'm just starting to play with modifying a couple vehicle skins in bf2.
What settings should I be using on the initial small pop up screen that appears when you load a .dds file into photoshop, and also for the big nvidia box with a hundred options which appears when you save a file again?
I am using a save setting which works, which I found randomly, but it would be nice to know what I'm actually doing. I've hunted high and low for tutorials, but what little I found is all greek to me. This stuff is complex!
Thanks!

Normal settings, don't touch them and just hit save.

I don't use my photoshop plugin for DDS, i use a DDS to JPG converter, i find it easier to edit stuff in paint.net (yes thats a program) because i know it better. I editited the J-10, and turned it into a Red Arrow Skin ^^, it ahs the RAF logo, the union hack on the tail and a fin flash with teh union jack. It looks pretty cool, im still updating it and making it better. If you want it (+ more skins) add me on xfire: masaca1
These skins are free ^^

Only use DXT1 if you want your skin to be shiney.
